About Midgard Strategy Game

Midgard is a medieval fantasy world where you play against real people. It is a mixed moderated open-ended Play By eMail (PBeM) game with a huge amount of depth, boasting strong story lines, colour maps and over 700 cities allowing plenty of opportunity for player interaction. The game allows for different styles of play - power gamers to role players.

Players are promoted, enjoying increasing power and responsibility through their chosen faction by completing any number of a variety of tasks offered by any of the 11 different factions or 5 different religions. Players start the game with aposition known as a clan, and may have a maximum of three of these. Clans may then form up to three Expeditionary Forces, and can also control cities. All factions and religions have senior positions which are also run by players.

Many cities are owned by both factions and religions. These cities are an intricate part of the world and they both consume and generate a number of resources which are needed by factions, cities, religions and players moulding a huge global economy. City leaders are responsible for managing a city's resources and problems! Such positions have a large influence on the game and city leaders are responsible for completing and upholding their faction's or religion's goals as well as their diplomatic stance.

Midgard is a turn based email strategy game. Your orders are processed by the company and returned to you via email. You do not have a fixed time limit to send in new orders but be aware, the game world will continue whether you send orders or not.
